Grey Tones.

Grey Tones.
Sometimes the coolest outfits are those that you throw on without much thought behind it. The ones that are simple in color and silhouette. Those looks that you can make look different with just one twist.

I switched it up a bit with my cardi that I picked up from nordstrom because instead of throwing it on over a tee, I thought it would be fun to wrap a belt around it for a more sophisticated look. I made sure to keep everything neutral in grey to fit the mood I was having plus it was easy to find matchy-matchy pieces in color over at nordstrom because they carry just about every color!

The leopard clutch was the perfect touch to break-up the palette. Don’t be afraid to keep things simple. Instead of wearing your oversized cardi over a top, wear a pretty lace bralette and wrap your cardi with a belt- the cute detail of the bra peeking will be the ultimate detail!

Gotta run now, but wanted to wish you a beautiful Tuesday!

Josh Goot

Josh Goot
Hope y’all are having an amazing holiday season! Aside from being able to spend it with loved ones, family and friends, we can agree that another great thing are the sales that occur during this festive and bank breaking season – am I right or am I right? My favourite Australian label, Josh Goot, is currently having a fabulous Melbourne sale from the 22nd to the 30th of December at their beautiful Armadale boutique. It’s a great chance to get yourself some amazing Josh Goot pieces at a fraction of the price, while experiencing the friendly service of their lovely Armadale team in a stunning store.

If you get a moment, make sure you check out the incredible range on sale – including this insane look I put together that I’m obsessed with right now. Y’all know I love my monochrome styling so I was excited to create this ensemble that is just 100% me – and now on sale! There is always something intriguing about Josh Goot‘s designs and collections and in particular his spring range that really resonated with me for its sleek, minimal and futuristic appeal, in the most luxurious fabrics and cuts and tailoring that truly sets Josh Goot apart. Each piece is classic with an edge, completely trans-seasonal and a statement in your wardrobe that doesn’t date.

If you’re as into this look i put together as I am, then head on over to the Armadale store and pick one out for yourself at an amazing price. Go on – treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself! Details of the sale below.
Josh Goot ‘Bra Top’ – in store only
Josh Goot ‘Lightweight Collarless Trench Coat’ – here and in store
Josh Goot ‘Layered Slim Pant’ – here and in store

Straight Hair

Straight Hair
Hello, hello.. Todays outfit for this gloomy weather is blue! And can you spot something different? Yes, my hair is straight after soooo long! My natural hair is not shaped to be straight and that is the reason why i have it curly all the time. I decided to get clip in extensions since i lost a lot of hair in a process of getting back to blonde few months ago. I am not a huge fan of normal extensions that are attached to your hair (i had them few years ago and after that my hair was in a really bad condition, see HERE) so i always had clip ins. I lost mine almost a year ago and never got them again. Until few days ago. You saw that if you follow me on instagram. I got straight ones as usual so when i saw them straight and nice i was like you know what ill have straight hair for few days. How do you like it?

Classic Ivory Turtleneck Sweater

Classic Ivory Turtleneck Sweater
I don't know about you, but I'm happy to have made it through my first week back at work after the holidays and I've been 100% committed so far on my fitness resolutions. I had to stay late yesterday for a conference call at 7pm so I ran down to our wellness center with my laptop and worked from the treadmill while doing my LISS session ("low intensity steady state" from Kayla's guide) before going back up to my desk. I felt like a rockstar. Where there's a will there's a way, my friends. We can do anything if we really want it.
On a more ironic note, since I started reading more (also one of my resolutions) that's all I want to do all week and I have had zero time, which is maybe why this hasn't been a strong goal for me in the past. But I'll have to find a system that works, probably on the weekends. Any suggestions?
Hope your resolutions are sticking this time. I believe in you!

Printed Cardigan

Printed Cardigan
Remember this tribal cardigan I wore back in January (you can see the full post here)? To say it’s been a favorite for many of you would be a huge understatement! Since it’s been such a big hit I thought I would round up some other favorites for this season. I’m so digging the black and white combo, but how edgy is the red and black? Hmmm… decisions, decisions.

Vanilla and Camel

Vanilla and Camel
For me, Bath and Body Works is nostalgic. I remember growing up I would sneak into my mom’s bathroom and steal her Moonlight Path body cream or if they were having a good sale she would let me pick out a stash of my own (it’s still one of my favorite’s today).

I was excited to take part in the launch of Bath and Body Work’s new scent Wild Madagascar Vanilla. It has hints of wild jasmine and African pear that give it an exotic yet still natural smell. I used the fragrance as an inspiration for today’s camel and animal-print look to reflect the cozy effect of the vanilla-based scent.
The Ultra Shea Body Cream has been my favorite. The climate here in Utah is so dry that during the winter you really have to cake on the lotion to keep your skin from cracking. The body cream is so thick and moisturizing that I really only have to apply it once a day, which is a big win in my book. I am also always on the hunt for a good exfoliator to buff off dead skin in the shower. The Vanilla Bean Body Scrub has a very fine grit so it is gentle on your skin but still coarse enough to leave your skin soft and smooth.
Hope you all are having a great week! Thanks for reading!Blogger : Hello Fashion

Pink Coat

Pink Coat
One of my favorite trends from the spring runways was fringe.  Though typically seen as a boho textile, I think there are ways to mix it with other classic pieces for a sophisticated modern look.  This fringe tank, for example, is a piece I bought a few months ago and stashed in the back of my closet to wait for warmer weather to wear.  But during my end-of-year wardrobe purge, I realized that it would be the ideal piece to layer under a cropped sweater for an added element of fun.  And it was the perfect choice for a casual date night out with my husband.
