Floral Mini Dress

Floral Mini Dress
Hi beauties, I love flowers for every season because they brighten up any look. This mini floral print dress is an example. It is a perfect choice for autumn or spring, but also for winter time if it is combined with a knitted cardigan and opaque tights.

When it is mixed with this bag and these boots the look has a boho touch that I love. don't you? Lots of Love and Many thanks for your nice comments. I hope you continue enjoying a very happy Xmas time. Kisses!

Jeans and Leopard Print Booties

Jeans and Leopard Print Booties
Hi beauties, simple looks mixing a perfect pair of jeans, like these ones from Meltin' Pot, and a monochrome sweater or shirt, are the perfect style secret that never fail. Furthermore, if we add a touch of animal print on the feet with a pair of leopard print booties and a pair of special sunglasses, the outfit becomes more and more stylish.

These particular ones are a new edition of the original Ray-Ban Wayfarer that I really love. Thank you so much for your comments and have a great day...I'm pretty sure you are plenty of things to do!

Cable Knit

Cable Knit
I wore this yesterday to run some errands, including a stop at the mall. Not only was the mall empty of customers, their stocks seemed rather empty too! Everything I went there for was sold out thanks to Christmas shoppers and post Christmas sales. I guess January is a bad time to shop because everyone is in transition for spring. I honestly don't go shopping much anymore in the malls but this is a rather urgent matter as I just decided about 4 days ago that I'm going to Alaska next week! So I really need some nice insulated jackets and snow boots but seeing as I'm not familiar with sizing in that realm I really wanted to try it on. No matter I will just hope my guesses are correct and order online!

I've started working out again not because of a New Year's Resolution or anything but just because I go through phases where I really get excited/determined to get fit. It hits me every couple months. I'm hoping I can keep it up like I used to about 6 years ago when I went every other day. I was so good about it!! Speaking of exercise, I have to say it is one of the best/worst feelings in the world is to be super duper sore the next day in the exact muscle groups you were targeting!!
Happy Weekend

Weekends in Paris

Weekends in Paris
I was able to spend the weekend in my absolute favorite city – Paris.  My love affair with Paris began 2 years ago when my best friend planned a girls trip for New Years and I’ve been making excuses to come back ever since.  In the past, I’ve stayed in charming airbnb apartments, but this time stayed at the incredible Four Seasons George V hotel.  It was such a treat – the property is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is so helpful (they helped me track down these!) and the location could not be better.  I’m looking forward to returning in March for Fashion Week (and maybe even before then.)  I wore this outfit to do a little shopping along Avenue Montaigne.  The leather leggings were so comfortable (and forgiving) after all of the macarons I consumed at lunch…I just ordered these to have a second pair.  Hope you had a relaxing weekend!

Tips for Styling a Long Cardigan

Tips for Styling a Long Cardigan
A cardigan is a layering staple, but not all cardigans were created equal. From cropped to maxi dusters, the length of a cardigan can completely change a look. Break out of your routine and opt for something totally different than your typical cardigan. Here are a few tips for mastering longer length cardis:

* Long Cardigan (hits between the hip and knee):
The relaxed boyfriend cardigan is one of my favorites – it works with just about any look, from short hemlines (shorts and mini-skirts) to long (jeans). The open-front (love this one 40% off) or draped style (40% off – worn in this post) draws the eye vertically instead of horizontally which will always be flattering. A boyfriend cardigan that hits just below the hip, like this one, is a must have. One that hits a bit longer, love this style , is slightly more unexpected and a great option for a baby step outside your norm.

* Floor Length/Maxi Cardigan (hits between the knee and ankle):
Although at first it might seem beyond your cardigan comfort zone, the floor-grazing cardigan is the ‘it’ silhouette this season and surprisingly not that difficult to pull off! The extra length adds some drama to an otherwise understated ensemble. The easiest way to work a long duster cardigan (this style 60% off) is by avoiding bulk underneath so skinny jeans or shorter hemlines are ideal. You can add balance to the length of a duster with shorter hemlines or by creating a similar visual effect with over-the-knee boots. If you have already mastered the floor length cardigan, consider belting the piece and wearing it as a dress for some extra drama. I think this one would work beautifully on its own and love this one.

Fair Isle

Fair Isle
I basically just went for comfy cute suburban style. Cute because I added the pink in and also because this cardigan has sparkles along the trim. I just love it! Also... I hope the contrast in all these cobblestones don't give you a headache.

Ordered everything I need for my Alaska trip (my stuff should arrive tomorrow!! and I leave Monday), all I have left to do is pack! So excited.

Camel Coat in Knightsbridge

Camel Coat in Knightsbridge
Happy Monday!  I picked up this chunky black turtleneck right before my trip and literally wore it every other day.  It’s perfectly oversized (I’m wearing a size small) and not too tight around the neck.  The wool is soooo soft it feels like cashmere.  It also comes in this gorgeous pink color (I need!) and classic cream.  I paired it with my favorite camel coat and heeled boots.  If you live in a warmer climate, I suggest buying the lightweight version and pairing it with skinny jeans and a white T.

Metallic New Year’s Eve

Metallic New Year’s Eve
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! It feel like it goes as fast as it comes! It was so fun watching B and experiencing his first Christmas. He took his first real steps on Christmas Eve so we were all freaking out. He has been standing for awhile and doing like the one step, but on Christmas Eve he took four steps. I wanted to cry! His face just lights up and he starts laughing, you can tell he is so excited and proud!

I got this skirt for New Year’s Eve. I felt like the metallic shimmer was perfect for bringing in the New Year :) I wanted to dress it down a little bit with a oversized sweater instead of a blousey top. I’m obsessed with this sweater. I have been wearing it on repeat! (also seen in this post)

After Christmas always brings the big clearance sales! I love picking up staple sale pieces for the next year like coats and sweaters.

Nordstrom has up to 50% off a huge selection of pieces. I’m in love with this two toned coat with the faux fur detailing. This gold Kate Spade watch is another great sale piece 40% off. Love the pave detailing.

ILY is running extra 20% off sale. These dual pearl earrings are a great buy for $10 with the discount. (use code: MERRY20)

Old Navy is running extra 20% off all Sale items. Pretty much everything from this outfit is on sale. I ended up getting this coat in another color. I also got this mint funnel neck sweater.

Shopbop is having a big sale too. This denim trucker jacket from this post is on sale in a lighter wash. Great staple buy. The denim is so soft on it I wear mine all the time.

H&M is running up to 70% off. How cute is this cardigan sweater under $30 and these fluffy sweaters for $20.

Happy shopping! Hope you all have a great weekend!
