How to Achieve the False Eyelash Look

When you want to use false eyelashes, you are aware of the fact that it takes much time to put them, as well as having great patience. But there is no need to do all this to yourself and in order to avoid all this hassle you can use the few tips that will help you achieve his look without actually put false eyelashes.

    First you need to curl your lashes. The second step is to apply a thin layer of powder. For the purpose I use my blending brush to make the gentle movement on the top and the bottom of my eyelashes. Some people use baby powder for the purpose, but according to me, they both have the same result in the end.
Now is the time to apply mascara on the bottom and top side of the eyelashes. And you should apply two coats, but you need to wait about four-five minutes between the two layers, because otherwise you can get clumpy, which is not cute at all.

Here you need to know that you should move your mascara wand from the base of your eyelashes, up to the top, and during the movement, you have to go back and forth slowly. The eyelashes are entirely covered with mascara with the left and right movement.

And the last step is to check if there are any gaps in your lashes. If there are, use the tip of the wand so that you apply some mascara on the individual lashes.

Winter Girl

It’s 9 pm and you are in a rush because you have to meet your female friends in one hour. Girls night out is always a special night because you get to bond with your best friends, gossip and flirt with guys (if you are single).

When it comes to a night out, you need to be dressed sexy and stylish at the same time. You never know who you will bump into; maybe you will meet the love of your life or you will meet your worst enemy. You must wear your nicest outfit.

Let’s start from the beginning. You need to look sexy without showing too much skin. An all-black look is perfect for a night out: wear a pair of black fake leather leggings, a pair of knee high-heeled suede boots, a black fitted turtleneck blouse, a statement necklace with beautiful stones/rocks. Add on top a black fur jacket. Straighten your hair and put it up in a sleek high pony tail. For the make-up, you must hydrate your skin and take good care of your lips with adding a purple-burgundy lipstick.

Another idea of a winter girl’s night out outfit would be wearing a short pair of silver glittery shorts, a pair of sheer black stockings and obviously knee-high black leather boots. Add a men’s inspired white shirt and a black blazer.  You shouldn’t be wearing bold accessories because your pants are already an accessory. Maybe you could wear a cute thin silver bracelet and that’s all. For this look, you need to wear a red lipstick.

If you are meeting your girlfriends at a lounge and you want to be comfy and sexy at the same time, opt for an oversized grey or silver knitted sweater dress, a pair of sheer skin colored stockings and some knee-high wedge boots. Obviously, underneath your knitted dress you should wear a pair of classic jean shorts or a pair of simple black shorts. Wear a statement necklace and your hair would look nice with subtle waves. For your make-up, you could go for a smokey eye and nude lips.

If you prefer a business inspired outfit, choose a pencil leather skirt that will enhance your beautiful curves and it will keep you warm. For a little pop of color, add a stripped white and blue shirt (men inspired) and a tan-brown blazer. Your accessories should consist of a golden watch, a golden simple necklace or a pair of statement golden earrings. For this look you could choose a neutral eye or a subtle cat eye and red lips or a brown smokey eye and nude lips.

Your outfit dictates the way you feel. Your mood is influenced by your clothing items, your hair, and makeup and so on. This means that you have to make sure your look is sharp. The key to feeling good is wearing comfortable clothes and being surrounded by nice people. Everything else is details. You will attract interesting and fun people if you are wearing your bright smile.

If I had to pick one color to wear for the rest of my life, it would easily be blush. Isn’t it funny how there are certain colors that just feel like you? When going through my closet and seeing not only what I wear most, but what colors and styles I enjoy wearing most, all of the pieces were feminine, soft and classic. I wore this look last week that mixed in three of my favorite colors- blush, camel and black- but I also love the mix of my favorite shade with light grey as well.

When it comes to little black dresses, or in this case, little black and white dresses, I always look for just a tad of drama, like an interesting shape, fabric or cute detailing. So naturally, when I spotted this number from Maje, I just couldn't resist. A perfect combination of sweet and sexy, I just love the way the super short hemline is balanced out by the delicate chiffon top!

Travel Hair Tips

My hair care routine is generally pretty simple, especially while traveling. I don’t want to bring a whole suitcase full of products (which I could easily do), so I narrow it down to the basics of what I need for the occasion and what type of weather I’ll be heading to. Most of the time when I’m home, I let my hair air dry and sleep with it wet, which helps keep additional heat off of it since I curl it so often. When traveling, there are many different factors that go into it- I’m up working later than usual and my hair reacts differently to the weather/water where I’m staying -so I rely on blow drying and a few products in the morning to keep my hair soft and glossy.

Using a T3 dryer is a little bit life changing. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true! As someone with really thick hair, I always dread blow drying my hair because it can take forever if I’m using a not-so-great dryer. I also worry about the damage from the heat and creating little fly aways and broken hairs. The reason a T3 is better than others? Well, for starters, it dries my hair faster and leaves it smooth and shiny- not puffy and dry. It’s definitely worth the investment. (plus it has a dual-voltage, so you can use it in any country as long as you have the necessary adapter)

I’m not really brand loyal with the hair products I’m using and switch them up every few months. My most recent discovery and obsession is Lea Journo. I’ve been using her Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner as well as her Gloss Cream and French Plum Oil. The products smell amazing and keep my hair healthy and hydrated. The gloss cream is definitely my favorite (I put it in after I get out of the shower) because it adds extra shine and keeps it frizz-free.

I’ve been using a wide tooth comb (I just buy them from Walgreens or whatever drugstore is closest) for years and can’t imagine using anything else. Even when I’m at a salon getting my hair done, I ask for them to use a wide tooth comb and just their hands. It has helped my hair grow longer because it doesn’t leave broken hairs from tangles and brushing too hard.
