The Fancy Bun

The Fancy Bun
Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog, and also to the last day of the holiday hair tutorial week! I've been really enjoying flooding you guys with these styles, because I have so many that I want to pass on all the time between all my ideas and your requests(thank you by the way!), so it's great to get a weeks worth out of my system all at once:) Today's style is a little special to me, and I'll tell you why right after you take a look!
The reason this style is special, is because this is how I styled my own hair for my wedding! I used a hair piece back then to give it an even fuller look, but this is it! I had a bit of a sad experience that I'll go into more later maybe, but basically I thought it would be a treat to have someone else do my hair for my wedding for the first time in my life, but on the trial run day(the day of our photo-shoot) she did such a horrible job, it made me realize that nobody would be able to do my hair just like I wanted it, except me! Who does their own hair and makeup on their wedding day? haha But in the end it was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't have been happier:) Alright now lets get on with it.haha
Well I hope you like it! Again I try to be as descriptive as possible, but then if I do too much text or pictures I think people get intimidated and are maybe afraid to give it a try, so I hope you're not one of those people and really see how simple and easy going this style is!
Thanks so much for visiting this week and for leaving all the feedback about these styles..

Victoria’s Secret Eye Makeup

Victoria’s Secret Eye Makeup
Ever wonder how all those Victoria’s Secret Angels always look so flawless?  Simple, yet stunning eye makeup is key!  I guess ridiculously good genes and killer legs wouldn’t be too bad either.  I was actually not even aware that Victoria’s Secret even sold makeup now, but after seeing this post I will definitely have to check it out!

As you can see, the pictures demonstrate a step-by-step tutorial of how to get this gorgeous look.  What the article does not mention is how important it is to highlight your eyebrows.  Many say that eyebrows are what stand out in a person’s face.  Some may feel differently, but I agree that it is a key element when looking at someone’s face.  What I like most about this look is that it is not dramatic at all and has a more natural look to it, which would work for really anything.  I can wear this makeup for work and a night out!  Also, it doesn’t look like it takes a lot of time to do and looks quite simple.  Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Glitter Eye Makeup

Glitter Eye Makeup
Glitter eye makeup is the best way to add some magic to your day. If you’re apprehensive about using glitter, or are using it for the first time, it’s best to start off with a powdered glitter eye shadow. But if you want to make an impact, pair glitter particles with a cream based eye shadow for a striking look. Now, finding a glitter shadow is pretty easy. You walk into the store, choose the brand, choose the colour, choose the type and finally head home with a big smile. But, can you carry it off? Will it look good? How do you wear it so that you don’t end up looking like a clown?
