Silver and Crystal Makeup Tutorials Below Step by Step

Silver and Crystal Makeup Tutorials Below Step by Step

Step by Step :

1. Start the make applying a white base at all. Then spray it with the fingers and place.

2. Apply opaque white shadow below the eyebrow and eyelid mobile.

3. With finely beveled brush caught opaque black shadow and March concave and carry out, making a "tiny wing."

4. To let this puxadinho at the outer corner with a soft end, swab and clean step! Thus the trace is off as terminate.

5. With brush to blend caught more opaque black shadow (just barely) and esfumó rising to the top and outer corner. As I am with a white base underneath the black smoky turns gray.

6. Now caught an opaque blue shade and esfume above the gray, carrying out.

7. Also esfume that blue in the inner corner.

8. With the brush chamfered step blue flush to the lower lashes, only the medium carrying out, following the same pulled black.

9. Complete this space between blue and black over white opaque shade.

10. Spend the same shade in the inner corner and down close to the lower lashes on the part that was without the blue. I also spend white below blue.

11.Now step brightness white crystal over white mobile eyelid. I have not spent fixer but if you want is better because it lasts longer, right?

12. Step the same white glow at the outer corner, quite unevenly. As if out of the snow floquinhos eye! Ohnnnnn  ♥ ♥ ♥

13. Now step fastener close to the lower middle lashes it out on the inside, and above apply silver glitter.

14. I also spent the silver glitter at the outer corner and concave over gray. Always step fastener before because to stick this glitter (which is thicker than the pigment touch of nature) that detail is essential.

15. Finally do black eyeliner following the design that is ready. The blue close to the lower lashes and black concave guide you to make the perfect stroke.

3. Allow to dry between layers, because it is too wet, the enamel is the nail begins to stick to the sponge ... In the following layers, place the sponge so that the green part becomes more over the division with black, so will form the perfect gradient!

4. Finish with a thin layer Shadow enamel to darken and even out the effect. If you want, you can skip this part and go straight to the Top Coat. It is important to use a good top coat, quick-drying, to prevent accidents and increase the durability of the enamel.

Step by Step :

1. I tried to use stamp, but not stamp rolls with it ... Not every enamel serves to stamp, this is very ralinho (although perfectly cover with two layers), so I decided to do the drawing freehand, using a small brush for nail art. Pinguei a drop of Cold On Belly on a flat surface (I use the silver side of Tetra Pak packaging) and started drawing flower half, like this:

2. Then pulled out a "tail", so.

3. I connected another firulinha

4. And one more ...

5. Then I made another flower in the opposite corner.

6. Repeat the process of adding the risquinhos ...

7. But added some to fill in the blanks and then with white enamel, fix some contours, leaving all very upright.

8. While this nail dried a little, applied extra shine (I used the quick-drying Ideal) in other nails and let that last. Not to blur the design, take enough extra brightness (know when're like an enamel drop on the tip of the brush?) And apply so that the brush or touch the nail, so there is likely to blur the drawing.

9. The bottom line is this:

Reduce your Shinny Face : Using a clean makeup brush, brush your face with pure lemon juice. Let it stand for 5 minutes then rinse. Do this in the evening before bed since the citric acid may cause temporary redness. Lemon juice contains astringent and antiseptic properties that will get rid of the excess perspiration.
Another shine Stopper tip : In a cup, combine 10 drops of lemon juice with one half cup of water. Saturate a cotton ball with mixture and dab over clean skin. Do not rinse.

2. Then apply a primer across eyelid (I used the Make B) and then an opaque brown shade a couple, three tones above the natural color of my skin. Apply it to the dobrinha eye rising slightly above the concave.

3. I take this brown to the outer corner of light, so do not give to see where it ends and where the color begins to "skin". Thus the outer corner is not with any "marking", but very natural.
* This step makes life much easier, because for me the hardest of makeup and make that defined zone.

4. Step the same brown close to the lower lashes, linking upper eye with less.

5. To give a smooth setting around the eyes, blending a brown gray shadow on the outer corner (in lying V) and concave, very lightly, leaving that cintilância "inside" the light brown shade.

6. With a thin brush to apply Satin Taupe close to the lower lashes too.

7. To define the outline of the lashes apply black pencil only the middle of the eye to the outer corner, above and below. Then esfumó with the same brush I used to apply the Kid shadow, because as he is "Sujinho" with brown shade will soften the black.

8. Apply a cream shadow in the inner corner a little invading the upper and lower eyelid.

How to : Applying Makeup In Right Order ?

How to : Applying Makeup In Right Order ?

There is a natural order to accomplishing most anything in life: Lather, rinse, repeat. Love, marriage, baby in a carriage. High school, college, job (if you’re lucky). But some things, like putting on a fresh face of makeup, are a little more complicated.
What do you do first: Apply lipstick or focus on eyes? Where does blush come in? Can you get away with putting liner on after mascara? We talked with Cristina Bartolucci, NYX’s chief creative director and co-founder of DuWop, who gave us her formula for putting together a perfect face. Of course, not everyone will use all steps, but even if you skip the powder or cheeks, this is a still a good working order to follow!
1: Primer or Moisturizer
“Choose one, not both,” Bartolucci says. “Moisturizer, no matter how light in texture, will interfere with the function of a primer.” Also, always remember to get in your sunscreen, whether SPF is built into your primer, moisturizer, or foundation.
2: Foundation
“I do not believe in doing the eyes first to avoid fallout,” Bartolucci says, noting that fallout is bound to happen when you are using eye shadow. ”When product falls onto bare skin, the pigment can be even harder to remove. It’s better to create a canvas with the foundation and then correct any mistakes as a finishing touch.”
3: Concealer
“Here is where you look at your face with a critical eye and add concealer sparingly,” says Bartolucci. She recommends only on blemishes or dark circles. “You want to wait until after the foundation because foundation will do a lot of the job for you.”
4: Powder
“Set it all with a very light dusting of translucent powder. This will help make it easier to remove fallout from eye shadow and give the base time to settle in while you apply the rest of your makeup.”
5: Eyes or lips
“I like to mix them up,” says Bartolucci. “After the face, I usually do the eyes first, but sometimes I’ll start with the lips because it gives me time to think about what I really want to do on the eyes.”
For Eyes: shadow > liner > then mascara. This is the order Bartolucci follows for applying eye makeup. “But always go back and layer,” she suggests. “Add a little more liner at the lash line, an extra pop of shimmer shadow in the center of the lid, etc.”
For Lips: balm > liner > lipstick > then gloss. Bartolucci suggests smudging liner all over your lips and rubbing it in with fingertips before applying lipstick. And of course, use gloss only if you want!
6: Cheeks
“I do the cheeks last for two reasons. One, it ties the eyes and lips together. Two, if you’re using a powder, you can sweep it across the lids after the eye makeup is done to add an extra pop.”

Redheads | How to do : Your Brows and Mascara

Redheads | How to do : Your Brows and Mascara

Step by Step :

When it comes to a redhead’s makeup routine, one of the biggest challenges is finding the right color for emphasizing eyebrows and eyelashes. This can be tricky, since most natural redheads have either very light copper brows and lashes or barely-there blondish-white ones. That coloring poses a problem with too-dark mascara—if it isn’t applied all the way to the lash line it’s really noticeable. Same goes for eyebrow products that are too dark.

Natural Brows for Redheads
You Will Need

• Tinted brow gel. Match the color of the gel to your hair for the most natural-looking result; we used Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Brunette.
• Two extra brow brushes
Steps
1: Take the brush from your brow gel and wipe excess gel onto the lip of the tube (similar to how you would with mascara).
2: Start at the inner corner of your eye and brush outward, in the same direction the hair grows.
3: As you apply, use the tip of the brush wand to help re-style the shape of the brows.
4: To finish the look, use one of the clean extra brow brushes and go over the brow hairs to separate and break up.
5: Repeat on your other brow, using the second clean brush.
Redhead Lashes Made Easy
You Will Need
• Brown mascara; we used Inglot Cosmetics Color Play Mascara in Brown
• Eyelash curler like Billy B. Beauty Eyelash Curler
• Fan brush; we used the small one from Inglot Cosmetics Brush Set 14
Steps
1: Curl lashes. Look down, press curler onto lashes, hold it, remove, and repeat, moving down your lashes until they’re curled to your liking.
2: Take the mascara wand and apply product to lashes, rocking back and forth horizontally as you swipe up and out.
3: Use the fan brush to get in between the lash line. Rather than dipping the brush into the mascara bottle, wipe a bit of the product onto the brush using the mascara wand. Look down, and apply mascara to the base of the lashes with an outward motion.
4: If you want to intensify the look for night, just use a bit more product and do an extra coat or two.

Famous Ombre Lips Tutorials

Famous Ombre Lips Tutorials

Step by Step :

1. This technique is often used by some gringos makeup artists, in my opinion is an evolution of that darker lip contour lipstick, you bring attention to the main color in the center of the lips, but creates a striking and charming effect with a lateral gradient darker, much calling attention to the mouth as well demarcated boundaries.

2. Start with clean lips and prepared with the same basis as used on the face. I finished with powder foundation, as we wanted a very high coverage mainly around the mouth.

3. Following around the lips with red pencil mouth, use any of the same shade of lipstick or darker. Apply with care and attention, it is very difficult to correct contour, try to correct can damage all the preparation that has been made.

4. As it should be, avoid leaving the contour of the lips.

5. Generously apply lipstick, more love in layers to make a good cover. I used a pinkish shade of red.

6. Fully populated lips and with a good layer of lipstick.

7. With a mouth brush improved lipstick finish, as applying to the bullet you do not have good definition. You may not like all apply lipstick with a brush, but it is essential when making the finish. Apply with a steady hand, and gradually make corrections to avoid the rush to make out the outline of the lips too much and end up making mistakes, correct lipstick is very complicated, since it is the last step of makeup and you do with the skin completely makeup.

8. I began now to darken the corners of the lips with a brown pencil, if you have mouth pencil this great color, if you do not use the same eyes, I do not care. Applied in 1/4 of the lips on each side.

9. I then spent the black pencil up to half of which previously applied the brown.

10. With the same mouth brush blending brown pencil mixing it to lipstick and creating a gradient effect, then mixed the black pencil with brown pencil. During the smoky, enjoy the dirty brush with the darker pencil and continue outlining the lips, so that the contour stay subtly darker than the center of the lips.

11. I created a gradient in a way that the singer was darker. If you have a little practice, esfume first brown pencil, then apply black with brown smoky already.

Bone - Fied Nails Art Design Tutorials

Bone - Fied Nails Art Design Tutorials

Cool and adaptable for nails this Halloween, so we invited nail artist Chelsea King to the Beautylish studio to give us her take on a chic Halloween mani. She chose a skull accent nail and paired it with blood red solids to create something you could wear to a power lunch or a pumpkin patch.
The skulls take a while to create, but the four solid nails help make up for lost time. You’ll need an ultra-thin nail art brush and either a stainless steel nail palette or a piece of tin foil to act as a polish palette.
Slight imperfections are less noticeable once a top coat is applied. Be sure to paint it on the edge of the nail to prevent chipping and help your nail art last longer.

How to :Sultry , Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorials

How to :Sultry , Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorials

Step by Step :

You Will Need
Wayne Goss, The Eye Set (Brushes 16–20)
dark brown kohl pencil
light gold shadow (slight shimmer)
medium and dark brown eye shadows
mascara or falsies
1: Apply a light gold shadow with a slight shimmer to lids using Brush 18. Then place any pigment leftover on the brush right under brow bones—“You want barely a whisper of it there,” says Wayne.
2: Line eyes with a dark brown kohl pencil, including the waterline. To get the shape right and add just a bit of depth to the eye, draw an arc just above the crease as pictured, and then fill in with the pencil.
3: Go over the line you created, just above the crease, with Brush 20. Blend out toward the outer sides of the lid. With the pigment left on the brush, go under the eyes a bit (“Waste not, want not,” says Wayne).
4: Apply medium brown shadow to the crease using Brush 18: place in the crease of the eye, and brush back and forth (tip: when working on a model, Wayne usually asks her to keep her eye open during this step). At the outer edges of the crease, blend out the color by working the tip of the brush in a circular motion.
5: Continue blending and extending the pigment out with Brush 16. Place the brush into the eye socket and work in a circular motion until the color bleeds out to nothing, extending past the outer corner as pictured.
6: Use Brush 17 to press the bulk of your darkest brown shadow onto outer lids. Note, the brush will cover about half the lid.
7: Once again, blend and extend the pigment out using Brush 16.
8: Take the color underneath the eye to join up with the top using Brush 20, as pictured. Finish with lots of mascara, or falsies.
Add a full brow and call it a day!

How : 6,000 year old Eastern Practice Give you Help Perfect Skin

How : 6,000 year old Eastern Practice Give you Help Perfect Skin
By all appearances, beauty entrepreneur Mally Steves Chakola was born with perfect skin. But she’s the first to admit that her smooth, glowing complexion takes work. “Because my pitta dosha can be overly dominant, I have to constantly combat inflammation,” she explains. “I use antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and botanical ingredients in my diet and beauty routine to help create my personal balance.”
Dosha? Pitta? Personal balance? With these terms, Chakola is referencing the 6,000-year-old healing practice known as Ayurveda, which she first got acquainted with as a child. Chakola’s India-born grandmother taught her how to mix botanical remedies ranging from custom oil blends for the face and body to shampoos made from naturally foaming tree bark. Now Chakola is harnessing this ancient wisdom in her skin care line M. Steves. The range includes five products—a cleanser, exfoliator, anti-aging serum, moisturizer, and dry face oil—all of which draw on Ayurvedic principles (as well as the powerful ingredient rose hip seed oil) to help you achieve a healthy glow.
Ayurveda is based upon the idea that the five elements—air, fire, water, earth, and ether (gas)—express themselves in humans as three “doshas,” or energies, called vata, kapha, and pitta. Ayurveda seeks to bring all three into balance through dosha-specific diets, skin care regimens, and relaxation techniques. Most of us have two dominant doshas and one recessive one; this imbalance leads to health and skin issues that can run the gamut, from allergies to acne to early signs of aging (we’ll go into more detail about each dosha below).
Ayurvedic recommendations are before their time—advocating healthy lifestyle choices like drinking lots of water, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep to keep skin looking youthful. And of course, the practice advocates for a healthy diet. Chakola suggests incorporating enzyme- and antioxidant-rich foods like papaya, live-culture yogurts, and turmeric to aid in digestion and fight premature aging. But, according to Chakola, lifestyle changes alone aren’t enough to counteract an imbalance. So she showed us how to identify your dominant doshas and shared the best Ayurveda-inspired beauty treatments for each.
What’s your dosha?
Note, you may not fall squarely into one category, and my notice traits of two or more.
Vata
personality traits: excitable and capricious
body type: slender
struggles with: insomnia and gaining weight
primary skin concern: tired, sallow complexion
recommended treatment: microwave a few drops of facial oil like Chakola’s own M. Steves Ultra-Nourishing Boost (we also like Indie Lee’s Squalane Facial Oil) for 3 to 5 seconds and rub into the face, neck, shoulders, and hands to drain lymphatic fluids and calm the mind
Kapha
personality traits: easy going and relaxed
body type: stocky
struggles with: depression and losing weight
primary skin concern: dull complexion
recommended treatment: before showering, use a body brush on dry skin using gentle, sweeping strokes toward your heart to exfoliate the skin, drain lymphatic tissue, and boost circulation
Pitta
personality traits: sharp, confident, and focused
body type: athletic
struggles with: impatience and irritability
primary skin concern: acne, skin inflammation, and hyperpigmentation
recommended treatments: Natural facial masks; see DIY recipes below
Balancing DIY facial masks
DIY Mask #1
Mix orange and pomegranate peel powder with cold-pressed coconut oil like rms beauty raw coconut cream, massage into skin, and rinse off after 10 to 15 minutes. You can find the peel powders in most health stores, or make your own by drying peels in the sun and pulsing them in a spice blender.
What it does: The citrus combo is excellent for a skin-brightening dose of vitamin C
DIY Mask #2
Mix honey, lemon juice, turmeric, and manjishtha powder (in most health stores), slather on skin, and rinse off after 10 to 15 minutes.

Best DIY Sugar Lips Scrub

Best DIY Sugar Lips Scrub

Has winter left you with Freddy Krueger lips? Ugh, me too. So when my chapstick wasn’t cutting it, I took the opportunity to mix DIY lip scrub. A scrub helps gently remove dead skin and freshen your lips so you can reboot your pout. I didn’t even have to go shopping—everything I needed was in my pantry or medicine cabinet! It took me all of two minutes, and now my lips are baby soft. And as an added bonus—all that massaging left my lips pink and plump! Here’s how to make your own:

DIY LIP SCRUB INGREDIENTS

• 1 tbsp. Vaseline (a natural salve or balm can be substituted if petroleum’s not your bag)
• 1 tbsp. Honey
• 2 tbsp. Sugar (I prefer white—it’s grainier)
• Flavor (here’s where you can get creative—I mixed in a squirt of chocolate syrup, but feel free to use maple, caramel, strawberry, or even a drop or two of your favorite essential oil)
Combine the ingredients in the container of your choice (a small glass jar works well, or you can re-appropriate an empty moisturizer container), mixing until everything is thoroughly combined. You can add more sugar or more honey depending on how you want the consistency. You can even stir in a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper for a bonus plumping effect.
Then scoop a silver dollar-sized amount onto your lips (try to resist the urge to eat it!) and slowly massage it in for 1-3 minutes. You can massage with an old toothbrush for extra exfoliation. Then rinse the mixture off your lips and smooth on your favorite lip balm. Now go kiss someone!

Fresh Floral Lace Motif Nails Art Design

Fresh Floral Lace Motif Nails Art Design

Floral Lace Motif Mani with Chelsea King
The inspiration: Chelsea picked three polishes that felt fresh (teal, lime-green, and white) to lay down the ultimate summery mani inspired by two of the season’s biggest trends—floral and lace.
1: Start with clean nails and a base coat.
2: Then, paint your base layer: the nail on your index finger in lime green, and all other nails in teal. Do two coats, then let your nails dry for at least 5 minutes.
3: Brush some white polish onto a piece of foil. “It’s helpful to have a small palette that you can work on and foil is more durable than paper, which absorbs polish quickly,” says Chelsea. Dip your fine brush into the white and paint 2 to 3 small circles randomly on each nail. (These will form the center of the flowers.) Here, we did 3 circles on the index finger and thumb, and 2 circles on the remaining nails.
4: Next, using your fine brush, paint 4 to 5 “petals” per circle to create flowers, as pictured. Chelsea recommends first painting a fine “V,” and then rounding the tops to create each petal.
5: Outline each flower in white, as pictured.
6: Paint diagonal stripes along each nail, making sure not to strike through any of the flowers. Go back and add another layer of diagonal stripes, in the opposite direction, to create a weblike pattern that resembles lace, as pictured.
7: Finish with top coat, and you’re done!

How to Contour : Basic | Makeup

How to Contour : Basic | Makeup

Knowing how to contour is an important skill as all makeup applications involve contouring on some level. But to many, the thought of doing it at home seems inaccessible and a little too tricky. But it's easier than you think! “Basically, all makeup is contouring,” says Los Angeles-based makeup artist Brande Bytheway. “When you contour, all you’re doing is accentuating your natural features.” To get the technique down, we had Brande walk us through the how-to's and tools to create a basic look using contouring.
This approach will look different on every person, depending on the shape of the features. Brande’s one piece of advice: practice, practice, practice. Try it, play around, and discover what works on your face. “It’s not as complicated as it seems,” Brande swears. “Some people do it every day!”
When you learn how to contour there are two main techniques: lowlighting and highlighting. Lowlighting refers to using a darker color wherever there’s an area of the face or feature you want to recede or de-emphasize. Brande recommends a hue about three shades darker than your own skin—and making sure your product is matte, never frosted or shimmery. The opposite of lowlighting is highlighting—this you do on areas you want to emphasize or bring forward. For highlight, you can use either matte or frosted/shimmery color, whichever you prefer.
Here’s how to do a basic contour on the cheeks, nose, eyes, and jaw. For this tutorial, we used powder eye shadows from Inglot. Make Up For Ever’s sculpting kits also get Brande’s thumbs-up; check out this quick guide to contour kits at every price for more ideas, too.
Cheekbones
According to Brande, the first thing most people want to contour are the cheekbones. To start, try receding the hollow of the cheek. You can find the hollow of cheek right underneath the cheekbone—there, apply your darker lowlight shadow using an angled medium or large brush. We used taupe-y brown here.
Every area you lowlight, you want to balance with a highlight. After receding the hollow of the cheek, counter that by making cheekbones stand out. To do that, brush on a frosted gloss or light shadow along the cheekbones, and blend out toward the temple.
Nose
This is a basic strategy to slim down the nose just a bit (which remember, may not work on every face). For the nose, use the same lowlight shade you used for cheeks. Start at inner corner of brow and apply down either side of the nose.
Next, apply your highlight down the bridge of the nose. For the nose, always use matte product, even for highlighting. “Generally speaking, people don’t want the nose or T-zone to look shiny, so in those areas, I’d stay away from frost or shimmer,” Brande explains. Finally, blend the two together using a brush.
Eyes
To make the eyes pop in two simple steps, start with your lowlight. Apply into the crease of the lid and blend well.
Then, counter that with a highlight, brushed right along the browbone.
Jaw
To lowlight, apply your darker shadow below the jaw along the jawline, right where the jaw meets the neck. Then blend down into the neck using a clean brush, so you don’t have a line.
Then, highlight right on top of the jawline, and blend together. Be careful not to go all the way around to the chin here. You want to highlight on the sides, along the mandible. “If you go all the way forward to the chin, it can make the chin look bigger, like it’s jutting forward,” says Brande.

Pop and Famous Smokey Eyes and Beauty Makeup

Pop and Famous Smokey Eyes and Beauty Makeup

Have you ever wished for more control and precision when putting on makeup? (Think: shadow fallout smearing your perfect concealer application into a smoky mess.) Thanks to the resourcefulness and ingenuity of makeup artists we work with, we’ve learned a few tricks using everyday office items, some of which you probably already have on hand!

TOOL #1: TAPE

You can use regular scotch tape to draw a super-perfect cat eye. After applying your eye primer (try Too Faced Shadow Insurance), grab a 2-inch strip tape and press it into your hand to make it a little less sticky. Then apply the tape at an angle from your lower eyelid. You can adjust the angle according to how dramatic you want the winged line to be. Using liquid liner (we love Stila’s pen version), draw a line from the inner corner of the lid to the outer corner along the edge of the tape. Peel off the tape and repeat on the other eye. You can also do this with dark shadow for a softer look with a dramatic edge, as we did here.

Masking and scotch tapes are also great for cleaning up fallout from glitter products! We love glitters (like the dramatic silver used here, Marilin Monroe from Lit)—but know the sparkles can sometimes land where you don’t want them to. Here, after applying, we lightly pressed a fresh piece of tape onto the skin to pick up errant flakes without disturbing our undereye concealer.
TOOL #2: BUSINESS CARD

Do you ever get those telltale mascara streaks along your brow bone? It happens if you’ve got super long lashes OR if you blink too hard or look up too quickly before the mascara is dry. Then you’ve gotta go back over it with a Q-tip dipped in eye makeup remover, and risk screwing up your beautiful eyeshadow job. Our tip: skip the remover step, and use a business card for no-smudge perfection.
Before you put on your mascara, hold an business card between your eyelid and your lash root. This creates a barrier so you can get at lashes with your mascara wand to your heart’s content. Keep the card there, and apply as many coats as you like—keep it in place and blink your lashes help them dry.
You can also use the straight edge of the card to catch dark shadow fallout, like we did.
TOOL #3: ENVELOPE

We got this dramatic RuPaul-esque look with the help of an envelope. To try it, hold an envelope just under your cheekbone. Swipe a blush brush into the cheek color of your choice (make sure there’s a lot of pigment on the bristles) and follow the line of the envelope. Concentrate the majority of the hue along the edge where your cheek meets the envelope, and blend upward. (Tip: a cut cheek looks great with acut crease!)
For a more subtle take, use the above technique for bronzer to contour, and then be sure to blend the harsh edge at the bottom with a sponge to get natural-looking cheekbones to die for!
Who knew our cubicle stockpile was hiding so many beauty tricks? We’re still wondering if there’s a makeup-related way to repurpose staples. Do you have any office-supply tricks up your sleeve? Please share with us in the comments!
