Blunt

Blunt
The problem that often comes with styling long thin hair is that it’s difficult to style, as it lacks volume & bounce and curls & waves don’t stay on for long, or won’t even show up. Long thin hair often tends to look dull and flat, making your hair look boring. Changing your style and making a few ‘different’ cuts here and there might actually give your hair the illusion of more ‘fullness’ and make it look less flat, even interesting and fun actually.
Add some blunt bangs on the front, covering the entire forehead. This is also a great way to mask a broad forehead. Let the bangs fall till the eyes. This will accentuate your long hair and also accentuate your cheekbones.

CALYPSO ST BARTH NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE

CALYPSO ST BARTH NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE
Philadelphia is a very dearly city to Bogdan and I and always a pleasure to come back to. So, I teamed up with CALYPSO ST. BARTH to show you my neighborhood guide in this artsy city. We have a few favorite places that we like to visit or just to relax and enjoy a cup of tea while we are there.
As a number one destination for us, Philadelphia Museum of Art is THE place that you must visit. I remember first time when I visited Philly, 8 years ago, and, as lover of art, this was all I wanted to see; soon I learned of many other great spots that are hidden in this city.
Number two on my list is actually related with the previous favorite: the flag-lined Benjamin Franklin Parkway that leads up to the famous steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Let me tell you that I always take photos of this boulevard, even though I visited so many times, but how can I not to?
Next in the list is a small, friendly café, Metropolitan Cafe, always a great spot to relax and to drink a cup of tea. Not so far away is the Metropolitan Bakery, one irresistible place with fresh pastries and french baguette that it tempts me no matter what.
These are my top favorite places but this city offers you many other great gems and of course I didn’t mention the shops, because I’ll never end this list.
A big thanks  to Calypso St Barth for dressing me in this city tour guide with these cozy and warm cashmere pieces and not only! Soon Part 2 of this city tour!

Cocoon

Cocoon
Along with my faux fur, found this cocoon coat at the Topshop department of Nordstrom. I swear, they have some of the best, on trend yet reasonably priced, outwear pieces right now. For example, totally smitten by this striped duster and this light grey trench.

Oh and totally didn't realize my bag was open till after the photos were taken! Whoops!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

THINK PINK, WEAR PINK

THINK PINK, WEAR PINK
The power of pink color continues... to haunt me, over and over again. I can't stay away and I simply wear it more and more often. A minimalist piece as this Gestuz coat is a long lasting keeper for many cold seasons to come.
Naturally, I combined this colour, once again, with this comfy cashmere sweater dress just to create a clean look. Happily there are also some printed elements because Fall days are all about: colors, texture/prints and coziness.

Personality Pumps

Personality Pumps

Sometimes we need to invest in a pair of personality pumps. I was lucky enough to snatch this floral  pair from J.Crew with their recent sale (seriously craving these) and I realized I've been investing in solid pumps for so long, I hardly have any pumps that are just fun and flirty. Solids are safe and often necessary for sure, but this is my year to disrupt a little. Who's with me?! ;)
jacket: jcrew | blouse: jcrew {old; love this style + similar here} | pants: ag jeans {on sale!} | shoes: jcrew {recently on sale; love this floral pump!} | bag: rebecca minkoff via zappos c/o | glasses: prada | bracelet: tory burch for fitbit | necklaces: jilly bean jewelry c/o | rings: e&j, gucci | lips: 'viva glam nicki' by mac
Hope your Monday is off to a great start!
